I. Scope of Application
A turnstile can realize blockage and access control of a public passageway. Its mechanical part includes an emergency control device. At the time of power-off, the arms at both wings will open automatically to offer an access. At the time of electrification, the arms will reset. With a variety of configurations, it is fit for all buildings and can solve all control problems at the entrance and exit.

2. Main functions and features
1) Its trouble self-inspection and warning functions make user's maintenance and use very easy;
2) The equipment's running state may be programmed by the built-in small panel on the master control board;
3) Mechanical structure can prevent operators from being clamped or wounded. As a rotating arm is blocked in the process of reset, the motor will stop working within the specified time. The arm will reset again (until it is reset) after defaulted time delay and the strength is small (≤2Kg);
4) Access locking: rotating arm is locked automatically before an opening signal is received.
5) Rotating arm synchronization (for double arms);
6) Automatic reset: if a person fails to pass within the specified time after the turnstile is opened, the system will cancel authorization of this access automatically;
7) The turnstile may be set as constantly open or constantly closed in order to meet requirements of different sites;
8) Induction or time delay will reset automatically in 5 seconds (settable) after opening; and
9) Rotating arms open automatically in case of power failure while they close up at the time of electrification, satisfying the fire protection requirements.
Functions and Features:
1. Problem-self-checking function.
2. Many options of working ways: Bi-direction card reading; One direction cards reading and another no reading; One direction card reading and another freely. And single direction photocell controlled passing and close. Working ways can be set in the control panel.
3. When power off, arm open automatically and power on again, arm will be held automatically.
4. When valid card read and passenger passed, arm can be delayed to close from 1-60s which can be set in the control panel.
5. Auto-reposition function: After card read, passenger not pass within regulated time period, full-height turnstile will cancel this passing right. And the regulated time period for passing can be set by managers.
6. If passenger pass without card read or valid card read, flap barrier will alarm untill passenger get back from the flap barrier and then take a valid card to be read for passing.
7. Swing barrier is with 485 interfaces for long-distance control concern.
8. Anti-rush function: If there is no open single, arm will be holding tightly.
9. Double anti-clipping function: Photocell anti-clipping and mechanical anti-clipping. When passenger is going through the swing barrier, photocell will detect out this situation and will not close. After passenger passed, arm will close automatically. During its reposition, if arm meets any obstacle, arm will get back automatcially or stop working for a while with very slight force. Also it will alarm.
10. Swing barrier is with standard electrical interface for the integration of various readers and writers.
11. Swing barrier can count how many passengers has passed and will show it in the LED display.
